District 3 - Commissioner Nathan Boyles
Commissioner Nathan Boyles grew up in North Okaloosa County. He possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in environmental engineering from Florida State University, and went on to attend FSU College of Law where he earned his law degree.
Commissioner Boyles’ strongly held belief that local communities are strengthened by investing locally is demonstrated through several business ventures, including:
A successful law practice, Nathan D. Boyles, P.A, which operates out of a renovated historic structure, built in 1938 as a Standard Oil gas station in Downtown Crestview. The Main Street Land Title Company, which was founded by Nathan in 2010 and is now one of the top performing full-service real estate title offices in North Okaloosa County.
Commissioner Boyles also believes that local communities are strengthened through the investment of “sweat-equity” and he contributes to a variety of local organizations including Rotary, the local Chambers of Commerce and the Main Street Crestview Association.
Commissioner Nathan Boyles and his wife Crystal currently have two children, son Beau and brand new daughter, Quinn. Boyles says he "is committed to his responsibility as Commissioner to meet the needs of the current citizens of Okaloosa County and to adequately plan for future growth so that Okaloosa County’s current and future citizens (such as his children), can continue to enjoy a high quality of life now and into the future."
Commissioner Boyles is the liaison officer for the following committees:
Community: Tri-County Community Partnership Initiative (Eglin), Regional Transportation Planning Organization, Okaloosa Walton TPO, Regional Utility Authority
County: Property Appraiser, Library Cooperative, Value Adjustment Board
